Madison made a dramatic comeback effort in the CIF-SDS D1 Title game against St. Augustine. Down 31-7 at halftime, the Warhawks scored 28 unanswered points in the 2nd half capped off by a Terrell Carter in the last minute of the game. A talented group of linebackers is led by Oregon-commit Sampson Niu and includes Bryson Collins and Chris Fatilua. Air Force-commit Brandon Lewis and running back Erick Buchanan had huge seasons that led to All-CIF selections.

The Coyotes are led by former Tennessee Quarterback Casey Clausen in his third season. Their explosive offense gets started with Nebraska commit .
