Point Loma (8-1) vs. Madison (6-3):
Point Loma has been rolling this season, their only loss coming to Ramona, 7-6. They’ll head on the road to visit Madison. The Warhawks have won six straight games while outsocinrg their opponents 282-90 during that stretch.
Point Loma – 24 Madison – 31
St. Augustine (4-5) vs. Lincoln (5-4):
The Saints come in having not lived up to expectations so far this season. With a win, they will most likely have a first round bye in the D1 playoffs. Lincoln is sitting in the 6th spot in the D2 playoffs and most likely can’t move up. A win would give them an outright 2nd place finish in the Eastern League.
St. Augustine – 27 Lincoln – 17
Oceanside (9-0) vs. El Camino (5-4):
Oceanside has been rolling through every opponent they’ve faced so far this season. I expect that to continue on Friday as they head on the road to play their rivals from El Camino. The Wildcats have had lots of trouble scoring, managing only 30 points over their last four games.
Oceanside – 35 El Camino – 10
Torrey Pines (5-4) vs. La Costa Canyon (5-4):
Torrey Pines comes in having won 5 out of 6 games with the loss coming @中国福利彩票正版app Oceanside. A win would give them an outright 2nd place finish in the Avocado West League. La Costa Canyon has yet to win a league game, and have lost 3 of their last 4 games with the win coming @中国福利彩票正版app Westview.
Torrey Pines – 17 La Costa Canyon – 13
Helix (8-1) vs. El Capitan (9-0):
The Highlanders have outscored their opponents 272-17 in six games since their 9-7 loss to Cathedral. Unbeaten El Capitan will be facing their stiffest competition so far this season. QB Brad Cagle and WR Isaiah Capoocia will have to help the Vaqueros score often to stay with Helix.
Helix – 35 El Capitan – 24
Mission Hills (7-2) vs. San Marcos (9-0):
The Knights come in unbeaten on the year, but with close wins over Fallbrook, Del Norte, and San Pasqual, it could show that they aren’t among the county’s elite teams. Outside of a loss to Oceanside, the Grizzlies have been hitting on all cylinders since the beginning of the season.
Mission Hills – 42 San Marcos – 24
Carlsbad (5-4) vs. Ramona (7-2):
Carlsbad is looking good, sitting in position for the 4th seed in the Open Division playoffs, while coming off a huge 35-7 win over El Camino last week. The Bulldogs suffered the 2nd loss of the season last week at the hands of Rancho Bernardo. They look to be on the edge of getting the last spot in the Open Division, or getting the top seed in D1.
Carlsbad – 28 Ramona – 27
SEASON RECORD: 19-2
